Survey: Hotel breakfasts overpriced, disappointing in U.K.

The U.K. consumer group Which? reports frequent visitors find hotel breakfasts mediocre, with common complaints being rubbery scrambled eggs, tasteless coffee and lack of fresh fruit. "The practice of charging extra for breakfast seems to be increasing, especially among expensive hotels," says Kim Winter, editor of "The Which? Guide to Good Hotels 2005," released this week.
