Arizona survey: Dairy, poultry lead grocery price increases

Dairy and poultry products led price increases on grocery shelves during the first half of 2007, according to the Arizona Daily Star's 26th annual grocery-price survey. Arizona Department of Agriculture representative Ed Hermes attributed the increases in part to cutbacks in subsidies to dairy farmers, high gas prices and high feed prices.
