Experts surprised by McDonald's turnaround

McDonald's' comeback, which has been driven by changes in the company's menu, management and marketing, has proven its staying power not only in the U.S., but also internationally. "A couple of years ago everyone was down on them," said Bob Goldin, an analyst at Technomic. "Now it's hard to find people who are really hard critics of the company."
