Study: High-glycemic diet can trigger fatty liver disease

Diets containing large amounts of high-glycemic foods may cause fatty liver disease that can lead to liver failure and death. A study showed that mice fed a high-glycemic diet had double the amount of fat in their bodies, blood and livers than the mice on a low-glycemic diet.
