The Google phone revealed

The first mobile device to run on Google's open-source mobile computing platform was unveiled Tuesday. The device, manufactured by HTC Corp. and offered by provider T-Mobile USA, will go on sale in the U.S. on Oct. 22. Andy Rubin, Google's senior director of mobile platforms, said, "We want to make the entire Web experience as good as possible on the small screen."
