Cook Medical unveils jugular version of vena cava filter delivery tool

Cook Medical has introduced in the U.S. its NavAlign vena cava filter delivery system used in inserting filters through the jugular vein in the neck. The company is expected to unveil in January the other form of the device designed for delivering filters via the femoral vein in the leg.
