Illinois task force hears from gambling opponents

Illinois' Kane County task force on video gambling says most people it has heard from support expanded gambling. But, at a recent meeting, several opponents spoke out. The Rev. Al Patten outlined religious reasons for opposing gambling, and a former police officer testified against the measure. The task force will reconvene on Sept. 30 to vote on its recommendation.
