Chase woos American Express customers

JPMorgan Chase's credit card division once catered to middle-class America, but the unit has recently switched gears to go after more affluent consumers. Chase's move into the territory of American Express has prompted AmEx to up its game. "You cannot be a leader if all you do is copy someone else's innovation," said Desiree Fish, a representative of AmEx.
