Conn. district considers activity fees for student clubs

A Connecticut school district is considering expanding its student fees beyond high-school sports to include student clubs and organizations, such as the debate team. Officials say the creation of student "activity fees" is intended to reduce the student sports fee of $225. One high-school principal says it's possible that activity fees could keep students from joining after-school clubs.
