Disney's top interactive exec resigns

Steve Wadsworth, president of the Disney Interactive Media Group, is stepping down from the job. His tenure has been marked by mixed results, which included acquiring the popular ClubPenguin site and less-successful tries at developing gaming titles based on "Pirates of the Caribbean" and Tinker Bell. John Pleasants, chief executive of Disney's newly acquired social-gaming unit, Playdom, reportedly is a top contender to replace Wadsworth.
