House follows the Senate in repealing the SEC's FOIA exemption

The House voted in favor of repealing a provision of the Dodd-Frank act that gives the Securities and Exchange Commission the ability to decline some Freedom of Information Act requests. The Senate unanimously approved the bill earlier this week. A representative of the White House declined to comment on whether President Barack Obama will sign the legislation.
