Project seeks to aid U.S. shelters with animal portraits

Art For Animals is a nationwide effort that aims to donate animal paintings that can be sold at auctions to raise funds for shelters across the country, or offered as gifts to people who opt to adopt shelter pets. Robin Truelove Stronk from Westmoreland, N.H., who worked for several years as a veterinarian, is one of the participating artists in the program, and has had paintings featured on the cover of JAVMA.
