Butter sculptor is the toast of state fairs

Sharon BuMann has been crafting butter sculptures for nearly 20 years across many states, and says she spreads her time between that work and more traditional sculpting. She said if she skips a fair, fans get angry, but the work, which must be done in a chilled room, isn't easy. "People think it's so glamorous," said BuMann. "Trust me, it's freezing and it's greasy."
