Bring search traffic to the right part of your website

It can sometimes be important to bring search traffic to a specific landing page on your company's website rather than the home page, writes Aleh Barysevich, who cites as an example a gardening website that offers a special section on rare plants and seeds. To do this, make sure the landing page has enough relevant content to bump it up in search, avoid over-optimizing keywords and place a large navigational tool on the home page to direct visitors who end up there to the correct section right away, Barysevich writes.
