Most Americans think obesity is a major health issue

Data from a Repass & Partners survey indicate that 83% of Americans consider obesity the most important health issue in the U.S., and more than 50% said it requires treatment using the latest medical science, beyond exercise and diet alone. Researchers also found that 64% of respondents incorrectly stated that a majority of Americans suffer from obesity.
