Printpack touts polyester clear film for confectionery

Mark Brogan, Printpack's director of innovation and technology, said confectioners are choosing clear film for packaging because it boosts shelf appeal by showing the product. "From a quality standpoint, I would say go with polyester," he said. "Polypropylene is a little more cost effective but the history is not there and one mistake can take care of those cost savings."
