Red Hat adds middleware to OpenShift for cloud apps

Red Hat says it's adding middleware tools and services to its OpenShift product to make the deployment of cloud-based applications easier. It's part of what the company calls xPaaS, a version of platform-as-a-service. "What we are announcing here is that we are preconfiguring and purpose-building the services in OpenShift that can accomplish all of these various xPaaS services -- all from within the JBoss product line and community," said Red Hat's Craig Muzilla.
