Safeway teams with chef Marcela Valladolid for Mexican food brand

Safeway has partnered with Food Network chef Marcela Valladolid to create a store brand of Mexican-flavored foods including ready-to-cook meats, chips and tortillas. "Hispanic shoppers are important to Safeway and we are excited to team up with Marcela to bring this innovative brand to all our shoppers seeking a real Mexican eating experience," said Joe Ennen, Safeway's senior vice president of consumer brands.
