Texas university teaches students about investing in startups

Graduate students at the University of Houston can learn about evaluating and investing in startup companies through a new program called the Cougar Venture Fund that will feature three local startups. "The goal is to teach students in an entrepreneurial finance class about raising money for a startup, what the options are, how to evaluate a deal," said Keith Rassin, a Houston consultant and adjunct professor at the university.
