Used-item selling app Sold moves to the Android platform

Sold, a simplified mobile e-commerce solution for used goods, is moving to the Android platform after having distinguished itself from other models since its debut on iPhone in April, Sarah Perez writes. Unlike mobile competitors to Craigslist and eBay, Sold uses an algorithm for pricing the item, gives the seller an option of accepting the deal, then provides prepaid packaging and makes the transaction. "Sold is now projecting $1 million in annual revenue as of its first 90 days and is still growing," Perez writes.
