Yahoo's Mayer predicts mobile ad prices will rise as search did

Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer gave the gathering at the Interactive Advertising Bureau's MIXX conference hope that undervalued mobile advertising will follow the trajectory of search into the profitable realm. The former Google executive said mobile ad prices will rise if the industry nurtures mobile with "the right format, the right model, targeting, and right quality of advertising content." In the meantime, Mayer said, it is important to own Yahoo's 350 million mobile users' "daily habits."
