Mississippi school cameras serving as high-tech "truth serum"

At the forefront of a national trend to equip schools with surveillance equipment, Biloxi, Miss., has placed the cameras throughout the halls, common areas and in all 500 of its classrooms. Although the local teachers union and civil libertarians say the cameras intrude on classroom privacy, parents and administrators credit them with resolving disputes and improving discipline.
