Companies draw on credit commitments, stockpile cash

General Motors, Sally Beauty Holdings and other large companies in the past week have tapped credit to stockpile cash, fearing it may not be available later when they need it. Banking analysts say the draw of available cash from banks further complicates the financial market, reeling from the collapse of Lehman Brothers last week.
