Dentyne ads tout real-world interactions

Fresh breath isn't required for social networking or instant messaging, so Dentyne is asking consumers to unplug, pop in a stick of gum and interact face to face. The "Make face time" campaign, by McCann Erickson is aimed at young consumers, and includes a Web site at www.makefacetime.com. The site promises to shut down in three minutes after it loads, saying, "When people are surfing the Web, they're missing the best part of life -- being together."
