Milwaukee considers options for snow removal

The city of Milwaukee is looking at several options to clear snow from city streets, bus stops and pedestrian ramps within 24 hours of a storm. One recommendation is to hire additional private contractors to help with snow removal, at a cost of $450,000 per storm. The city spends about $105,000 for clearing only half the bus stops and ramps after each storm.
