Stocks may face short-selling run when ban ends

Shares of companies that cannot be sold short may face a run when the emergency short-selling ban expires next week. "Investors should keep in mind that once these rules are lifted, it would allow for additional pent-up [short] selling to continue," said Chip Hanlon, president of Delta Global Advisors. He also said ban is "a terrible idea."
