Teachers seek online donations for classrooms

DonorsChoose.org, a Web site that allows donors to peruse educator requests for funding, is helping some D.C.-area teachers provide needed supplies and fund special classroom projects. "You have to do whatever you can to get your kids to learn," said 10th-grade English teacher Amanda King, who requested highlighters and composition notebooks.
