U.S. personnel prohibited from some big hotels in Pakistan

The U.S. State Department is prohibiting government employees from visiting or staying in large hotels and dining at restaurants in Islamabad and two other cities in Pakistan after the recent truck bombing at the Marriott in the capital city. The U.S. Embassy is cautioning other Americans to take similar precautions. "There are reports that further terrorist attacks may take place in Islamabad, and that markets and restaurants may be among the intended targets," said a notice from the embassy.
