Canned-food companies find opportunity in economy

The down economy has presented an opportunity to the canned-food industry, as people are looking for ways to eat inexpensively and at home. "It's definitely given us an opportunity to reach ... new consumers," said Rich Tavoletti, an executive at a canned-food industry group.
