FedEx packages new plane, non-stop flight to Asia

A new Boeing 777-200 with increased fuel capacity will allow FedEx to start making non-stop flights from Memphis, Tenn., to Asia in January. "We're going to be able to offer service that no one else can offer with much later pickup times, as those planes do not have to stop as they come back across the Pacific," FedEx CEO Alan Graft said last week. FedEx is the latest U.S. carrier to announce improved business with the growing Asian market.
