H&M vows to move forward with global expansion plans

Despite weak sales in August, Hennes & Mauritz said it will continue with global expansion plans. Karl-Johan Persson, CEO of the Swedish retailer, expressed optimism about long-term prospects as the company looks to move beyond its European strongholds. Persson said new stores are planned for Russia, Japan, South Korea, the US and Europe.
