Kim Yoon-ok, the wife of South Korean President Lee Myung-bak, recently prepared savory seafood-stuffed pancakes at an event in Great Neck, N.Y., for American veterans of the Korean War. It was part of a Korean Cuisine to the World campaign, which aims to make Korean food one of the top five world cuisines by 2017.
