Mica hopes to add $15B to transportation bill

House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chairman John Mica, R-Fla., is reported to be looking for an additional $15 billion for his six-year transportation plan and is doing so with the approval of House GOP leadership. However, raising the gas tax is not an option, and other funding sources could be scarce. Mica's original plan called for $230 billion over six years.
