Study: Very premature babies more likely are to face learning issues

Kindergartners who were born very prematurely more likely are to have problems with learning, compared with their peers, a new study has found. Children born prior to 28 weeks are more at risk of developmental disabilities, and even in the absence of any intellectual impairment, premature children scored lower in spelling and math tests, the researchers found.
