Ariz. city council eyes sign redesign for entertainment district

The Peoria, Ariz., City Council is putting finishing touches on a plan to use brightly colored, illuminated monument signs to raise the visibility of an entertainment district. The city plans to spend $495,600 for the design phase and $3.85 million on construction, which is slated for next year.
