End of Gensler's term as CFTC chairman prompts concerns

Gary Gensler's term as chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission will come to a close at the end of the year, yet the Obama administration has not nominated anyone to replace him. Market participants and those inside the CFTC say they are worried that a power vacuum could develop just as the role of the agency couldn't be more crucial for the markets.
