IRI's Weatherford discusses the evolution of financial advice

Financial advisors offer greater value to clients than ever before, but they are going to have to learn to engage in deep, meaningful conversations with their clients, said Cathy Weatherford, president and CEO of the Insured Retirement Institute. "Financial advice is going to become even more personal," Weatherford said at IRI's Vision Annual Meeting in Chicago. "It's about the person, the client, not just about the money."
