Researchers observing monkeys at New York's Central Park Zoo have discovered yet another characteristic that primates have in common with their human cousins: a tendency to talk trash about the boss. The scientists from the City University of New York introduced an unpopular supervisor to a group of cotton-top tamarins and observed noticeable changes in their communication patterns, suggesting the monkeys were trading whispered gossip and warnings about the zoo worker.
