November issues of 4 Hearst pubs to include perfume vials

Sample vials of Marc Jacobs Daisy and Eau So Fresh perfumes will be sent with the November issues of Hearst's Elle, Cosmopolitan, Seventeen and Marie Claire magazines, which reach a total of 400,000 subscribers. "Until you get a scratch and sniff on your smartphone, magazine media has a unique selling proposition to allow samples," said Michael Clinton, president of marketing and publishing director at Hearst.
