Biofuel startup to move headquarters to Longmont, Colo.

Advanced-biofuel startup Sundrop Fuels plans to transfer its headquarters from Louisville, Colo., to Longmont, Colo., in October, according to the Longmont Area Economic Council. Sundrop Fuels uses solar energy to convert cellulosic material into synthetic gas, which can be used to make ethanol and other fuels. The company hopes to begin construction on its first commercial-scale biorefinery in 2012.
