Delta hub airports charge more than spokes

Delta Airlines is charging a substantial hub premium for international flights out of hub airports such as the Detroit Metro Airport while charging lower airfare from smaller spoke airports, a review of published airfares has found. Airline representatives say that the pricing system, which is the opposite of those of several major airlines, is due to several complex factors such as fuel prices, demand and routes.
