NBPTS to release guide for teacher-evaluation reform

The National Board for Professional Teaching Standards is preparing to release a guide for districts implementing new teacher-evaluation systems. The guide, to be formally released Monday, includes information about what should be considered and who should be consulted. The guide also suggests that evaluations measure the five areas considered in National Board Certified Teacher applications.
