Anger is a powerful tool for leaders, experts say, although it's easy to overuse. A little rage can motivate employees, shake competitors and inspire confidence in a leader's authority -- as long as bosses can back up their words with action. "In order to have dominance, there must be a tacit threat," says management professor Robert Livingston. "If you're a bully and people don't think that you can beat them up, they're not going to give you the lunch money."
