How Arctic ice melt could affect worldwide climate

The melting of ice in the Arctic Ocean could have far-reaching implications for global climate, according to John Yackel, who heads the department of geography at the University of Calgary. The loss of ice could eventually lead more moisture from the oceans to enter the atmosphere. "It'll change our weather drastically," he said.
