All Netflix subs can now screen "Super HD," 3D content

Netflix has expanded to all of its customers the choice of streaming content in "Super HD" and viewing 3D titles. Previously, the Super HD format and 3D titles could only be viewed by users whose ISP belonged to the video service's Open Connect content delivery network. Also a top Netflix executive reached out to satellite, cable and telecom providers urging them to consider taking on the video streamer as a partner. But analysts expect few pay-TV providers to take Netflix up on its offer.
