Antiretroviral therapy seen as potential cancer fighter

Researchers at the Mayo Clinic say antiretroviral therapy can boost the body's immune system and possibly help resist cancer. Their research stems from observations of health care workers accidentally exposed to HIV who received antiviral treatment and remained free of HIV, apparently because of an increase in T cells.
