Study examines online, offline travel buying habits

Travelers in Europe vary in their approaches to booking online and offline, a PhoCusWright survey found. U.K. residents were more likely than their French or German counterparts to rely exclusively on the Internet to book travel, while many French and German travelers rely more on offline methods due to e-commerce barriers and "buying behavior steeped in tradition," the survey said.
