A sheep's milk cheese without the lanolin aroma

Lavort, a cheese derived by the Fromagerie de Terre Dieu in France, is made of sheep's milk but does not have the strong lanolin scent of most sheep's milk cheese. In the San Francisco area, Lavort can be found at DeLessio Market's Broderick Street location, Pasta Shop in Berkeley and Oakland, Big John's in Healdsburg, and Grapevine in San Jose.
