NBCT: Teacher tenure ensures due process, fairness:

A National Board Certified Teacher questions those who believe teacher tenure should be abandoned, saying teachers should work to maintain their professional protections and rights to due process. In this blog post, Anthony Cody writes that some teachers -- mostly those who are newer to the profession -- believe tenure should be eliminated. However, Cody argues that teachers could be vulnerable to unfair attacks without tenure.
