SEC sets schedule for instituting Dodd-Frank reforms

The Securities and Exchange Commission has issued a timetable through July for how it will handle the rule making on 50 topics required by the Dodd-Frank financial reforms, starting with interpretive guidance for standards governing audits of securities brokers and dealers. Proposed rules about shareholder "say on pay" votes, over-the-counter derivatives and disclosing consultant conflicts are expected by December.
